Here are scenes from my book The Birding Dictionary finding its way out into the world: some nice online comments, a photo of me giving a talk at Harvard Book Store, and two pigeon feathers that someone gave me at a book event (they came from her pet pigeons!) plus a print that an artist named Kori Rane gave to me.

Thanks so much to everyone who bought this book or came to an event to say hi. There will be more comics soon, but for now I’m traveling to The Biggest Week in American Birding to launch this book into the bird festival world.

Do you like birds? My new book THE BIRDING DICTIONARY is out today! This little book is deeply silly and full of love, and I hope you’ll laugh and maybe enjoy an obscure fact or two.

Boston-area folks: I’ll be at Harvard Book Store at 7 pm tomorrow, May 7 for a book event, and on Thursday I’ll be at the MIT Museum’s After Dark: Birds event signing and selling books.
